22 bands in total last night, great turn out for the Ulster Protestant Boys.

We led the parade last night and we were happy enough with how things went.  We were a bit rusty with some things but at least we now know what has to be sorted for the next parade. We walked way 5 in the Colour Party, 6 Drummers (2 new and 1 of them 12 years old), 2 Bass Drummers and 19 Flutes.  Still a few to get out on the road but hopefully it'll be sooner rather than later.

Well done on a good parade lads the weather was alot better this year which helped out with the crowds  and a decent crowd there was out watching, the UPB have put in alot of work over the past year travelling to other parades and glad to see it paying off and hopefully next years parade will be even bigger.

Arrived a bit late to this but just in time to fall in as the last band just around the corner from where the parade started.  We walked with 5 in the  Colour Party, 7 drummers, 1 bass and 15 flutes.  Didn't think we were going that well at the start, thought the pace was far to slow but it started to sort itself out as we marched on. Wearing new jackets for the first time because it had been raining but the sun came out and we ended up roasted.

Only 5 bands at the parade which was a bit disappointing would have liked a few more bands to have attended.  Well done to the bands that were there.

Really enjoyed this parade tonight, it's good to get back out into the swing of things again. Only criticism of the parade was all the gaps between the various bands but cant really be helped, we paraded with 4 in the Colour Party, 6 drummers and 13 flutes, a bit down on during the day in Antrim.  Unfortunately we didn't get to do the full walk as the bus was booked out from 1 that day and had to be back in Coleraine for 10 (plus it cost us £410).  Anyways I watched the whole parade, a lot of bands were going very well. Some big turnouts ands its good to see a lot of the Shankill bands out supporting their local bands.  It was great to be up supporting Shankill Star as they have down with us for almost 4 years now and we have never been able to return the favour till tonight.

I don't no if I was in Antartica last night or Ahoghill, to say it was cold was an understatement.  Anyway as for the parade, well the bands that stood out for me, were  Ballykeel, Dunloy, Derryloran, Ulster First Flute and Pride of the Maine. Id say there was about 25 bands in total.  Got a chance to see the reformed Cullybackey Maine Defenders, who were big in numbers and playing ok for their first outing.

Great day yesterday and well done to the Steeple.

We walked with 5 colour party , 7 drummers , 2 bass drummers and 17 fluters. Did okay, played well in places but not so hot in others. Great crowds out watching the parade and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Good turnout of bands there which was good de see (3 from Coleraine as well).
